Internet Down

I am so bummed! I tried for another 2 hours tonight to get our computer to connect. Still having issues. Posting from a phone is no fun. I just want to say that Kayla is still about the same. Her ANC was 200 this morning so I'm sure she will be at zero by tomorrow. Still no fever (knock on wood). She has been tired but fine during the day. At night she has been very sick. It's exhausting. We got the doctor to get us zofran that will be administered through her line to hopefully combat the nausea. We are hoping tonight we all get sleep! I have some cute pictures and will post more as soon as the computer allows!

Here's hoping that your little sweet pea, Kayla, will have a good weekend. I'm sure glad that you are all together and able to stay close to one another. Love and many hugs, Connie

  4. My Grandmother lived to 9 mos shy of 100. Her analogy of life fits for your family:
During times of extreme hardship (and as our birthdays get to be 60-70-80 +++) life is like the climb of the tallest mountain peaks, when the climber hits the steepest and most trecherous part of the trail (lots of bouldering) PLUS the air gets thinner and thinner. It takes all you can muster to keep going.....to find the strength to continue. The reward is getting to the top....the beauty, peace and accomplishment quickly over-rides the exertion.

Your climb with Kayla, and her personal climb has most certainly hit the steep boulders....we all are praying for your continued stamina and strength, and for the glorious reward ( Kayla's cure ) to be yours sooner than later.

You are a most remarkable family....you inspire us all.
